He came from a Mormon family, and his father secretly practiced "polygamy" and married several women at the same time. Rulon Jeffs allegedly had 65 wives and 65 children when he died at the age of 92. In 2002, the denomination was succeeded by son Warren Jeffs. Warren Jeffs, a self-proclaimed prophet, claimed to be possessed by his father's soul and used means to replace Rulon's position in the FLDS. Different from banner design Rulon's relatively low-key management style, Warren Jeffs advocates: "The more wives and children, the more you can go to a higher heaven." He therefore married a total of 78 wives, of which 24 wives were minors. He also married almost all of his father's widows (except two of them) and had 60 children. As for the management of the sect, he also intensified, using means to win people's hearts, and in the name of establishing "Zion (the heaven within the doctrine)", he wantonly squeezed believers and collected money for his own squandering. Because the means were too violent, the people of the sect were unstable. He claimed that other more capable core members lacked faith, causing a crisis in the church and expelling cadres who might threaten their power. And some of the wives, children and young people he squeezed couldn't stand the pressure and fled the sect, and his sins were leaked.
